We were informed via a very short e-mail earlier this week that we have been approved by the Armenian Prime Minister to adopt an Armenian child!!! We should receive his referral next week.
This is the first of two approvals and means that once we accept his referral, our paperwork will be officially matched to Joseph's, and then return to the PM. We have two weeks to accept, but I'm pretty sure we don't need it!
We can expect our second approval in 3 to 7 months and will then be able to travel for the first of two trips.
We are very happy to have received some news that things are moving along.
