Wrapping Up Our Week - 2/4/2011

Wow! We haven't had this much snow in a long time. It's been a little cold, but after school, the kids made sure they got out and enjoyed the piles of white stuff.

Other than the snow storm (and Daddy getting a snow day!), there wasn't too much excitement around here. The kids just plugged along with their school work, and Ben did lot's of playing.

It was so nice to not have anywhere to go.

I think I may even have laundry caught up. At least for the next 5 minutes.

Which is great, because next week I head back to work...

Our finances reached a "somebody's got to do something" point. Jim is already working two jobs, so I guess that somebody is me. I was blessed to find a part time job. I'll be working nights on a postpartum unit. I am very excited to get back to work!

Have a great weekend!

I'm linking up with Jen at Forever For Always No Matter What.

  1. I always thought a post partum unit would be so neat to work on.

I remember snowforts as a kid. One year, (1979) the blizzard was so huge that we were able to climb up to the top of the garage roof and jump into the snowdrifts. I know. That is crazy in so many ways.

  2. Looks like the kids really enjoyed the snow. I couldn't make a snow fort if I tried :) Good luck on the new job. Have a great week!

  3. You will be such a blessing in the postpartum unit! I hope all goes well.

The snow looks fun! My youngest son was surprised to find out that snow is cold- I think it is time that we take him in person to see for himself. We are hoping for a trip next year.
