Highlights from my Mother's Day

I woke up this morning to three big hugs and a chorus of "Happy Mother's Day!"....

...and to my husbands pancakes, yum!

I also received some very nice gifts...

A necklace made by Madeline, a bookmark,  a cute box Owen made in Sunday school, with a poem that made me cry...and very sweet cards.

We then went outside to pull weeds in the flower beds (really, I could think of nothing I would rather do, I've missed my flowers)...and my family was willing to help, after all, it was my day...

They've been a little neglected these past few years, and need some TLC.  It will be fun to do some planting again.

I wanted to make sure that the strawberry patch...

and the raspberries, would be ready to be nibbled on all summer long...

by my 3 little bunny rabbits.

We then spent time with each Grandmother, then my sister, and her family.  The guys planned and cooked a special dinner for us.  It was yummy.

It was such a nice day, I already felt very loved...

But, it didn't stop there...

Our agency notified us that we should be traveling soon to bring Joseph home!  Maybe as soon as July! How awesome would it be to be there on his 2nd birthday on July 19th!  Could we be so lucky?

I couldn't have asked for a better day.

Ooh, I almost forgot, I was also treated to a Happy Mother Day dance...

I am one lucky Momma. :)
